Cancer Type: Colon and Rectal Cancer

Colon and Rectal Cancer Symptoms: Lower abdomnal pressure and pain when having bowels movements, diarreh/hard bowels movements at the same time. Began drinking nutritional drinks for food.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Oct. 17 colonoscpy/ Oct 19 removed 18 inches of colon, 15 lymph nodes and appendix. Six days in hospital. Lymph nodes clear cancer had spread outside the wall of colon and almost completely closed off bowels.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 6 Months starting Dec 2, 2011. 5 hours every other week. 5-FU, Oxaliplatin and leucovorin. Will bring home 5-Fu in a bag for the weekend will run through port and bag removed on Mondays

Anal Cancer Symptoms: Tail bone pain, progressively got worse, couldn't sit. Anal pain. Rapid weight loss.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 2 Continuous drip 4-5 day, rounds 5-fu and Only one of mitomycin were given due to how sick I was towards 2nd treatment. One given oct. 2018 the other december 2018.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Of teh intial tumor in 2018 all was taken out, but an area of pre-cancerous cells (AIN 3)was found around it and in the cutting edges of the wound.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: At recurrence now in 2020 capecetabine (5F-Utablets) and metomicine (1x) . Toxic reaction on capecetabine. (After 2nd opinion in 2018 I declined on chemo because the doctors did not agree on wether it was nessecary.)

Vulva Cancer Symptoms: Pain in vaginal area

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: 2 Groin lymph nodes removed before treatment. After chemo and radiation the rest of tumour was surgically removed. Process called radical vulvectomy. Post surgery I had serious infection resulting in a 2 week hospital stay and debridment. Cancer returned again in 2017 resulting in a hysterectomy, colostomy and reconstruction.
