Anal Cancer Symptoms: I had a mass which I thought was hemorrhoid. I had a dream that it was cancer and mentioned it to my primary doctor who referred me to a colon rectal surgeon. I had no bleeding, but also had high pressure, In fact, I've had no high blood pressure since the mass was removed.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Pill Chemo - Xeloda 500 mg. 4 pills AM 3 in PM. Zofran for Nausea. 2 IV push of Mitomycin during the 1st & last radiation treatments. Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: LAR 9/17/2009 35-40 lymphnodes remove all cancer free. Lots of pain from surgery. Pull thru surgery 10/11/2009 because LAR failed. This final surgery saved me from a bag for life.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 5FU no side effects Avastin no side effects Oxi could not touch or drink anything cold.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: My first surgery was on September 22, 2005 where I had a lump in my breast removed. I got the call on September 26th that is was cancerous. My second re-excision surgery was on October 5th. The cancer reoccurred and was found on May 29, 2009. I am scheduled to have a mastectomy on Thursday June 11, 2009.

Kidney Cancer Symptoms: Memory Loss, Lower Back Pain, Night Sweats, Fatigue, Confusion, Water Retention, Bloating, Toxicity Weight Gain - RCC Discovered during ultrasound for doctors theory of me having PCOS - due to my symptoms. CT Scan confirmed suspected RCC and 4 nodes on left lower lobe of lung.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy to remove tumor on Left Kidney, March 25th 2011 - Surgery was a great with good margins taken. Side effects were extreme nausea, lung collapse, and continual fluid on left lung to date.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: 2/25/2016 Robotic. No major side effects. Post-surgery constipation (thanks to a few days of opioids) then the opposite, then balance, finally. This seems to be the usual course of recovery. Make sure you have a pillow for your belly for the ride home from the hospital. Avoid dairy products at all costs.
