Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 12/8/14 R+Chop thrush, severe upper and lower abdominal pain, pain in muscles and joints, extreme fatigue, constipation, constant coughing, aspirating fluids into lungs. Gastric Reflux activated to point of juices flying up in throat even while on Omeprazole. Neuropathy-numbness and tingling hands and feet. Tongue is numb and can't taste anything. Cancer Type: Ovarian Cancer
Stage of Cancer: Stage 1 cancer
Ovarian Cancer Symptoms: Bloating; unusal weight gain; stomach protruding to 5 months pregnant size; lower abdomen area was too firm to be fat; pain in area of tumor; having a period every two weeks; heavy bleeding day two and three of a four day period; difficulty moving around.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: My surgery was 1/31/11 to remove ovary w/ tumor and uterus. After tumor was tested positive for cancer, other ovary, cervix, tubes, appendix, and wall of fat (can't remember the medical term), all removed. No adverse effects of surgery. I healed quickly and without incident.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 6 rounds of chemo, first one 3/9/11, last one 6/21/11. Side effects: constipation; sharp pains in legs and feet; metal taste in mouth; heavy limbs; pain in joints; jittery; loss of all body hair; eventual numbness and tingling on bottoms of feet; and a slew of other things.

Symptoms: Bloating, digestive difficulties, loss of appetite.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Carboplatin and Taxol, 8/11/2011. Sun-sensitive day after infusion (doesn't that sound like something you'd pay extra for at a spa?), then joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, fatigue on days three and four following chemo. Get better pain meds for next round!
