My very first symptom was not enlarged lymph nodes or fevers or itching, but severe bone pain in my lower back that radiated down into my left leg. Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Initial treatmeent: ABVD/MOPP (8/92-12/92). I received 6 cycles with complete response. The chemo was relatively well-tolerated. Salvage treatment: DECAL (Dexamethasone, Etoposide, Cisplatin, Ara-C, L-Asparaginase) 9/92-12/92. One brutal regimen! Cisplatin was the worst. Three cycles with complete response followed by stem cell transplant.
