Bio: Received anal cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) diagnosis three years ago. Fortunately, for me: stage 1. I acted on very few, very mild symptoms and the brilliant British NHS did the rest. Treatment survived. Adapting still to effects of radiation.

Anal Cancer Symptoms: originally: tiny amounts of bleeding, fecal incontinence, passing of clear mucous. Later itching at the site of the tumour.

Anal Cancer Symptoms: Originally 2 small hard lumps on the verge of the anus - itchy No blood, no constipation, no pain. Left for 1 year by medical profession. Since biopsy have grown and bleed and hurt. Inguinal lymph node swollen

Medical Term for the Type of Cancer: Follicular low grade lymphoma stage 4b in lymph nodes and bone marrow
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Rituximab cyclophosphamide vincristine Prednisolene every 3 weeks started 7th August 2012 x8 sessions then 2 years Rituximab control. So far, the only side affect is fatigue , normally towards the end of the day and the day after chemo. Hair still with me. Making sure I don't get an infection of any kind.
