Bone Cancer Symptoms: Swelling above left carpal, limping. My vet had just lost her dog to osteosarcoma so took no chances - straight in for an xray, which suggested it could be bone cancer, so immediately referred to a Vet Oncologist (Dr Terry) who took bone biopsies and did body scan. Bio: Hello Everyone. Ive just come out of Prince Charles Hospital hoping that the tumor on my rightside lung could be removed. Unfortunately the surgeons found that I have stage 4 cancer in the lower half of the lung internally and exterior lining, now awaiting to see what options they can give me.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 1st and 4th week of Radiotherapy treatment, chemotherapy was also performed. 24 x 5 delivery of 5FU with a Cisplatin infusion on second day of each of these weeks. Side effects included a 'Chemo crash' both weeks I had the treatment - second week worse than the first (required blood transfusions).
