Breast Cancer Symptoms: A lump in my left breast the size of a ping pong ball.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Radical Mastectomy October 28th 2011. The surgery was a successful one. Was very happy with the clean cut. No side effects.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 2 types of chemo started November 21st 2011. Nausea, migraines, fatigue, mouth sores, dizziness, bad taste in mouth.

Bio: Moved in the fall of 2015 for a fantastic new job and to start a new life adventure. Cancer decided to make the scene. Diagnosed in January 2016. Reoccurred 5/2020.
Cancer Type: Endometrial-Uterine Cancer
Stage of Cancer: Stage 1 cancer
Medical Term for the Type of Cancer: Endometrial Adenocarcinoma
Endometrial-Uterine Cancer Symptoms: Recurrent - progressively increasing bleeding and right rear flank pain. Primary doctor incorrectly treated it as kidney issue. 2020. Also have Dermatomyositis confirmed by muscle biopsy.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: 2/25/2016 Robotic. No major side effects. Post-surgery constipation (thanks to a few days of opioids) then the opposite, then balance, finally. This seems to be the usual course of recovery. Make sure you have a pillow for your belly for the ride home from the hospital. Avoid dairy products at all costs. Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: in process some fatigue, chemo mouth, diarrhea, headache, vertigo, not too bad. Chem mouth (mucositis) was the worst effect so far but Magic mouthwash helped clear it in a few days.

Medical Term for the Type of Cancer: Invasive Lobular Carcinoma
Breast Cancer Symptoms: Breast distortion and inverted nipple.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Surgery date to be Sept 18th, 2019. Single left mastectomy. (Reconstruction not until the fall of 2020.) 2nd surgery 5 days later to remove all lymph nodes on left side. Add'l surgery to remove expander that was leaking. Had implant put in instead.

Medical Term for the Type of Cancer: Nonkeratinizing squamous cell
Nasopharyngeal Cancer Symptoms: Fullness in right ear, sinus headaches, tingling and numbness in upper right lip and cheek area near the nose, right side of tongue and right side of roof of mouth sensitive to salty and acidic foods
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Started weekly induction chemo on 9/5/13 with carboplatin and paclitaxel- soreness in mouth, slight nausea, dry skin (severe itching), acid reflux. Started chemo-radiation on 11/4/13 using cisplatin. Received 5 weekly cisplatin treatments until wbc count was too low.

Breast Cancer Symptoms: I found a lump in my left breast, had mastitis for years & had no insurance, so let it go. But it got too big. Went to doctor.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Went to surg.first & in 1 week I came out of surgery. Quickest thing I have ever heard of. Fla. Drs. don't waste time.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 6 months.... 3 at first.... then 3 more after radiation..most side effects there are!!!couldn't eat,sick,cried,tired, you name it....lost my hair, then lost it the 2nd time too,3 months later

Ovarian Cancer Symptoms: I found a lump in my neck above my collarbone, and I had been having shortness of breath when speaking and exercising. Also tightness of upper chest when exercising.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: TAHBSO and section of supraclavicular lymph node on July 25th, 2011; emergency flap craniotomy (brain surgery) Jan 30, 2016
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Combined carboplatin and taxol, both administered systemically by IV started August 10, 2011, with last cycle administered November 23, 2011. Side effects included: nausea that was only gotten under control after the second administration using about 5 drugs; intense fatigue; muscle and joint pains that were reduced with tylenol and later greatly reduced with gabopentin; intense neuropathy in hands…more

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Lumpectomy and lymph node clearence 2008,ovaries both large tumour 2010, total gastrectomy and lymphs around stomach area 2015, speenectomy 20 percent pancreas and 20 percent removal of bowel. Difficlulty eating cant gain weight, nigjt sweats,pian in joints and bone, muscles.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Six rounds in 2008 and 12 rounds in 2015 got through these not too bad in the big scheme of things.
