Ovarian Cancer Symptoms: Bloating, fluid in peritonium. I had elective surgery in 2010 when my sister was diagnosed with stage 4. No signs of cancer then -ca 125 of 11. So in feb 2015 diagnoses with cancer in peritoneal wall
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Surgery in June 2015 to remove uterus, cancer and put in intraperitonial port
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 2/2015-abraxene and carbo, 8/2015-cistplatinum, 1/2016- cist and topitican, then clinical trial, then doxcil with carbo, just stopped parp after 85 days, starting avastin abd chlorophamide (sp?)

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: I've had a Hickman line, a Port and a Vascath- all done by surgery. I now have a purple pic line that works with ct contrast!

Symptoms: Bloating, digestive difficulties, loss of appetite.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Carboplatin and Taxol, 8/11/2011. Sun-sensitive day after infusion (doesn't that sound like something you'd pay extra for at a spa?), then joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, fatigue on days three and four following chemo. Get better pain meds for next round!

Ovarian Cancer Symptoms: 2 swollen lymph nodes in my groin and in hindsight, fatigue. I would have never known if the lymph nodes did not show up.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: June 21, 2010 successful surgery with no visual cancer remaining.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 7-2010 IP/IV chemo x 6 cycles ( cisplatin/taxol/carboplatin) Hair loss, extreme fatigue, abdominal pain... 11-2011 ca125 on the rise. 4/6 cycles complete of topotecan. Ca125 back in its place. BRCA 1 Minimal side effects: reasonable fatigue and well controlled nausea.
