Medical Term for the Type of Cancer: adinocarcinoma: K-RAS positive
Colon and Rectal Cancer Symptoms: Extreme change in bowel habits leading up to complete constipation (blockage) and weight loss
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: had 12 inches of colon removed along with 14 lymph nodes, 5 of which were positive. Mets to the liver. Surgeon made an incision from an inch above my navel down, about 10 inches. No colostomy… so far. 12/14: hysterectomy to remove metastasis on ovary.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: folofox: 3/14-9/14, starting again 1/15
