Self-imposed: I wear white cotton gloves EVERYWHERE I go as a reminder not to touch my mouth, eyes or nose. I sanitize EVERYTHING and wash my hands every chance I get. When people ask me why I'm wearing the gloves, I tell them I am a cleanliness inspector; what's your address?
Given Neulasta after my first infusion. WORST PAIN EVER. I have a very high pain threshold, and this was incredibly brutal. It was like someone took a baseball bat to my entire body 100 times in a row. I did not respond well to it. Thus, I only had it once. Look where that got me - neutropenic. They had to give me more, but a less potent version while in hospital to boost my WBCs and help fight my neutropenic fever.
