Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Colostomy. July 17th. No initial side effects, she felt great. About a week after her surgery she was diagnosed with c-diff and spent another week in the hospital.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 4 treatments done... 8 more to go. Mom had her port put in and about a week later went for her first treatment. She spends about 6 hours at the cancer treatment center and has her "chemical purse" with her for 48 hours. Side effects: pain in feet occasionally and colder than usual.

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Lumpectomy and lymph node clearence 2008,ovaries both large tumour 2010, total gastrectomy and lymphs around stomach area 2015, speenectomy 20 percent pancreas and 20 percent removal of bowel. Difficlulty eating cant gain weight, nigjt sweats,pian in joints and bone, muscles.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Six rounds in 2008 and 12 rounds in 2015 got through these not too bad in the big scheme of things.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: On April 19th 2018, I also received my first dose of chemotherapy. I don't remember much of what happened during this time except I broke out in a red rash from head to toe and ran a fever for 5 days straight. The red drug, daunorubicin, makes me extremely sick. I'm a wreck when they give it to me.
