What Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer Survivors said about their Chemotherapies.
Rituxan and treanda. Had mixed results. Then R-CHOP, which seemed to increase the cancer. Then R-ICE which then sent me to get an auto transplant. Had a severe reaction to rituxan the first time, then minor reactions every other time. They had to infuse really slow. Added an extra day to my chemos. No other big side effects from the actual chemo except fatigue. Hair loss after the final ICE but was high dose. Also, threw up after the ICE except after the high dose.
Rituxan, Treanda and Neulasta with minimal side effects.
I will be starting Bendamustine and Rituximab chemo on August 20th and 21st. I will be having treatment for 2 days every 28 days for 6 months followed by 2 years of maintenance therapy.

Began with Rituxan and Treanda. Moved to Rituxan every eight week for 3 years. Never stopped feeling tired but the last year has been really exhausting and labs showed my immunogloblan levers were at 300 instead of 2000-3000. Had one 5 hour dose of Gamagard IVIG which made me sick and not eating for 2 days. Developed a skin rash all over my torso a week later which has gone one for 3 months and 5 doctors later. Biopsy says it's Shingles, but it doesn't act like Shingles.
