03 march 2002 i was put under and had my left testicle removed.i had a prosthesis put in its place.mentally i was a mess but physically i felt fine was allowed home after 1 day but had to return to the hospital for a whole 5 days after for various tests.
First surgery was in 7/08 for orchiectomy,that wasnt to bad..my second was lymphadenectomy on 4/09 this one left me with a nice zipper like scar down my stomch.more to come...
Orchiectomy, RPLLND June 08' Loss of Right Kidney, hospilized for most of June and July. Abdomon fulid build up, TPN, high heart rate (150 resting)
Husband had his surgery July 2005. My son had his surgery 7th Sept 2009. No side effects

Inguinal Orchientomy Dec 2002: like having wisdom teeth removed, except it was one of my balls. Retropertinteal Lymph Node Dissection (RPLND) Jan 2003: Rough stuff. Digestive system took several months to get back to normal. Made worse by taking hydocodone (Vicodin) without adequate food. Eight years later I am in the best shape of my life.
