What Anal Cancer Survivors said about their Cancer Surgeries.

Biopsy only
4-5-2017 Anal tumer removed, 4 mos late, more bleeding and pain
Anal excision 1/30/18 removed most of the tumor. Pain from surgery lasted about 4 weeks, difficulty managing bowel consistency to keep soft enough to pass relatively easily
Two liver resection, 7 and 4
I honestly cannot say I had colorectal surgery - I had what I thought was a very small hemorrhoid removed and poof instead it was 3 cm cancerous tumor. I just didn't know how to get rid of the Surgery choice and it was the closest thing I could come up with to what I had done. I also had my port inserted and removed, no fun but love my surgeon he is awesome!!
After a negative biopsy during a colonoscopy (3-2018), went in for surgery to have the lesion removed...another biopsy of the removed tissue showed it was cancer. I bounced back from the lesion removal surgery pretty quick.
July 25 2017. Removal of what was thought to be a benign anal growth. I expect some degree of soreness will be permanent.
