I had a BMT on September 6, 2009 with my brother being the donor. The only significant side effect I had was a bad mouth sore. I did also have tiredness and nausea and vomiting which was kept under control by zofran. I never had a fever or infection causing me to be readmitted to the hospital. (I know. It's not fair right?! Mine was a very unusual and miraculous experience.)
