imageCindy - Radiation Proctitis  Hi al.  Quick post.   I've been so tired could not get up.....tsh 0.2 so they said part if it was that....then rbc were 3.7 a week later 3.3....wbc 5.0 a week later 4.2. Hng 12 a week later 11...... Monocytes 10.3 high.  Headaches shortness of breath high heart rate.   I'm not as tired alittle better....adjusted synthroid.   Today went to colorectal dr.  Been bleeding.  He did a anal smear, then retal blood on his glove..did anal scope found proctitis. …More…

imageLisa - Getting Anxious....  Surgery again next Thursday. Trying not to think too much about upcoming thyroidectomy, what the pathology will show, starting a new medication, healing from lung surgery four months ago and now this healing adventure...but I can't help but think about it, and feel the anxiety.  Can't do anything about it right now because I'm at work.  Being a nurse in the medical profession has its pros and cons. imageMarcia - July 9, 2014  I apologize for being so chatty lately (nervous, one of my chi's is going for surgery).  BUT..ANYWAYYYYY... tonsil, throat, larynx, or anyone of us...I found a new product at Walgreen's, toothpaste/mouthwash, and I think floss too, called "HELLO", 99% natural, not tested on animals, no alcohol, chemicals or dyes, it's clear.  I got Mojito Mint and its very nice.  Pat C had some concerns a few weeks ago regarding Biotene.  This is less expensive, and I think, better than Tom's …More…

imageKelly - Results are in ... not what I expected  Well, I had my CT scan yesterday and saw my oncologist today.  Unfortunately, not what I was hoping for.  The cancer in back and in my liver.  I need to get my port back in, get a liver biopsy and, they want to start chemo by next Friday, 7/18.  The doctor said that, unlike the first cancer, this is not curable.  Telling my kids has been difficult.  My daughter's wedding is in 4 months.  I asked the doctor if I …More…
