Ok. That is fascinating. And comforting. All through this process, we are nagged with the question "is it working" and things like your new, stubby, fuzzy-wuzzy hair NOT falling … when you do notice it (while not undergoing chemo) maybe it isn't that you slept on it wrong at all...maybe it is just an area that is entering rest.
Ah the things to ponder...

Jill,
You are not a quiter! You will make it back and be able to pass all the tests do that you can go back to an active duty CHP officer. I would bet that the majority of your co…as on Tamoxifen the oncologist said it was no problem to use it. Takes care of all those feminine/intimate issues too.
I agree with the others try waxing the underarms.

I know you can, I know you can! You just have to measure things through a slightly skewed lens. You can get back to a new normal and for you girl, that will be better than probab…the taxol but it went away pretty quickly after stopping that chemo.
You are not a quitter and will get stronger, that's a given...it just takes patience.
Take care

Hate scan days. Anxiety seems to increase more every time. You are strong and resilient, that is shown by your writing. While your lying on the table imagine you're in the backy…elling the grass and looking up at the clouds floating across the sky.
Praying that everything is clean and you've got another worry free ticket for the next 4 months!

Here's to an easy surgery for you on Tuesday. I'll be praying and thinking of you. Glad that your Maggie is having fun with her friends...how about a cocker???? Just brought Izz…oaking from romping in the sprinklers next door! She is now banished to the kitchen until dry... Don't you just love that wet dog smell?
Hang tough and keep us posted.

Hi Ann,
I can relate to relate to how you are feeling. I still feel weird after 9 months. I had a PET/CT scan at 4 months out of treatments and asked my medical oncologist whe…ting follow ups every 6 months or scans every 6 months? Your daughters poem brough tears to my eyes. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Take care

You are an amazing woman! You'll probably be able to take on those 14 Tasks blindfolded... never mind the What If's and stick with the I Can's....
PS Loved the story about the underarms... but, yes, try waxing... sooo much easier!

We just dig in deep, pull out all the hidden strength within us, enjoy every day we are given - like no one else on this Earth. You have such strength and courage. I am wishing you the best over these next 4 months.

Larissa you are in my prayers daily, although it sometimes silently sneaks in, I think you would have some symptoms so it is just anothor day, you are well...believe...I just hope they don't put you through any unnecessary discomfort. Cancer is a bitch.
Chemo is a bitch.
Age is really a bitch. But at 44, you have so many good, cancer-free, chemo-free years ahead of you. Remember the code words..."new norma…!! And as far as eyebrows go...grossly overrated...find a nice soft pencil and draw designer brows every day. And look at the money you'll save on mascara (lmao).
We love you...

Dear Jill,
Quite simply, you will be strong and fit again. You may be somewhat different than you were before, but comparing yourself to what used to be is a waste for anyone. …air will return, your strength and fitness will return. No doubt.
And you can try waxing your armpits or try an electric razor. Just a tip from a girly-girl.
Peace,
Kathy
