Cancer and AntidrepressentsViews: 376

I went to see my doctor about a week ago in regards to the amount of pain i’m in. His remedy was to put my on antidepressents which I know that I don’t need. Has anyone else had this happen to them or does anyone have any ideas on what my doctor has done

I have had doctors tell me the same thing. It is like they don’t understand the pain we are in.
“Oh, this poor person is just sad and looking for pills to take. I’ll give them these” Whatever! I wish for one second a doctor would truely understand the pain of cancer and the true need for pain pills. So yes, I have been told that and I have turned them down.
