Good Morning All My Cyber FriendsViews: 798

I have Never taken any trip of any kind without my children despite the encouragement of friends. Since my daughter has been in College every Spring we would go to St. Pete Beach, Fl and stay @ The Don Cesar Resort & Hotel for a week-10 in May but I am beginning to make some real changes in my life.I realize that everyone has soooo much going on, with treatment, work, family, etc., but since at this time being my time is fairly flexible and I wanted to see just how many of you could or would entertain the thought of taking say a 2-4 night stay at a Hotel that I would contact ahead of time and tell them our situation in hopes of getting a good rate. ANy comments or suggestions would be gladly welcomed. As far as a destination, and everything else. I thihnk it would be great to all meet.
It would be great if it would be a Wellness type of Hotel/Spa ( Perhaps Kris could help us on that one) I would love to meet as many of you that was interested. Think about it. When you can please let me know your thoughts.
Night Night, Patty :) ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I am organizing a cruise to raise funds for the American Cancer Society, Aug. 16, 2008. It is a 7 day cruise on RCCL Liberty of the Seas. The rate is low and $100 per cabin is donated by RCCL to the American Cancer Society. If anyone is interested in rates please call the travel agency at 877-393-1122 and ask for Melissa’s Cancer Cruise or post your email on my blog.

WOW, I wish this was an option for me, but I cannot fly because of blood clots and I really do not think I could handle traveling with my chemo side effects…but who ever goes—-HAVE FUN!
NEED ADVICE ASAP regarding a Life Insurance Policy that I took out 2 years ago. I had went online in search of a conpany that would write a policy. Unfortunately, I left off the box underr,”OTHR” that read,”Leukemia”, so I received a letter after two years that stated: We have found a pharmaceutical record of signifance that appears to be associated with you, based o a matching name, date of birth, social security number, and zip code. This pharmaceutical record brings into question the accuracy of your responses to the health questions in the applicataion. Pleaae sign and date the enclosed authorization to obtain medical records that will allow us to verify the information in that pharmaceutical record with the prescribing physican determining our next action.
If we do not receive the enclosed form within 30 days of the date of this letter, we will rescind your policy and refund the preminums paid.
P.S. I am in a a state of panic, though I have spoke with my attorney he tells me that I have done nothing wrong for no monies have been claimed. Besides a small policy, I only wanted to have this for my chilldren, Does anyone have any advice for I feel like sych a failure. Any words of wisdom would be very appreciated.
Thankss, Patty:)

The Don Cesar is very nice. This sounds like a great plan. Anything maybe 5-$600. and under I could swing. How much is the cruise? Even a good deal on that may be over $1000.00.
I live here in Fl in Palm Harbor. About an hour from St. Petersburg. The lowest priced ways to go in Clearwater St Pete area is condo rentals or kitchenette suites because most of the money is spent eating out.
Ok, people. Let’s toss around some ideas.
There are also some cottages on the beach of a couple islands a little further south than St Pete that fit about 5 or 6 to a cottage. I can’t remember the name but I had some friends go and they said it was great.

Patty,
This insurance thing sounds like it will be quite a battle. Did you have cancer at the time you completed this form?
Basically if you did you get screwed, if you didn’t have it you should be ok.
I nor even my daughter can ever buy life insurance ever. I almost got life ins about 2 months before I was diagnosed. We decided not to get it then and wait awhile not knowing I would be diagnosed a little later and can never get it now.
