Hey everyone!
I just wanted to pass some information that has been making headlines locally about cancer prevention.
I live in North Carolina, where muscadine grapes are farmed in many areas throughout the state.
According to the National Cancer Institute , research suggests resveratrol, a chemical found in the skins of muscadine grapes, may inhibit the growth of or cause the death of leukemia cells and cells of cancers of the head, neck, breast, ovary, prostate and colon, among others. It also may be a potent anti-inflammatory agent.
